The Wehry Family is an evangelistic preaching and singing family ministry team from Northumberland, PA.   Randy and Wendy have been singing together for over 30 years, and have been blessed with 5 children, Jared (21), Janessa (20), Jessalynn (18), Joshua (16), and Jourdan (11) who are all part of the ministry.   We believe that it is time for Christians to take a positive and active stand in the spiritual battle that is ensuing in the world.  For 25 years, we ministered through music on a part time basis, and Randy held (what the world calls) a very lucrative position as an electrical engineer for 21 of those years.  However, after much prayer and seeking God’s will, we took a step of faith and entered into the full time ministry in 2000.  Since going full-time, e have traveled extensively throughout the east coast, and as far west as Montana, ministering in 20 different states.  We have witnessed many conversions to the faith through our ministry.

The purpose of our ministry is to spread the gospel message of Jesus Christ to as many people as possible.  Music and personal testimony and preaching the Word, is our way of sharing the message of salvation through Christ’s atonement for man’s sins on Calvary.  Music and the preaching of the Word is also our way of sharing love, joy, and peace that can only be realized when one is saved through Jesus Christ.  We choose songs that uplift, encourage, challenge, and edify the saints of God, as well as minister to the lost.  Our ministry emphasizes the importance of togetherness that is needed in today’s families.  We also stress that Christians should be setting an example through our daily lives, exemplifying the joyous life that is found in Christ. 

We play live music.  Wendy plays piano.  Randy plays bass.  Janessa plays rhythm guitar. Jared plays rhythm and lead guitars, harmonica, mandolin and pedal steel guitar, fiddle, and banjo. Jared recorded a harmonica instrumental project in 2006  and a  Country Gospel Instrumental Collection in January of 2009!
